As an Art Major at NGU, you will spend much of your time designing, drawing, painting, photographing, printing, and sculpting. You will learn about principles of design; basic, intermediate, and advanced color theory; the timeline of art history; technical skills; the importance and execution of fine craftsmanship; syntactical strategies for expressing your ideas; speaking and writing about your work; professionally exhibiting your work; and creating a portfolio, as well as how to apply this knowledge in mastering your own chosen area of emphasis.
